Director of Strategic Technologies Alliances

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Arango's strategic alliances vision for the next 3–5 years, focusing on hyperscalers and ISVs.

• Focus on establishing and nurturing strong partnerships with key platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, NVIDIA, IBM, and prominent AI ecosystem participants.

• Oversee the creation of collaborative solutions, reference architectures, and bundled offerings.

• Spearhead co-development projects, including Technical Proof of Concepts (POCs), MVPs, and production-ready integrations.

• Design and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

• Establish a systematic approach to transition partners from Onboarding → Enablement → Pipeline → Revenue.

• Identify and engage with emerging partners in Data platforms, AI/ML tools, and Industry SaaS providers.

• Continuously refine Partner enablement, manage the solution lifecycle, and enhance GTM effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12-15+ years of experience in strategic alliances, product partnerships, or ecosystem development.

• Demonstrated success in developing joint solutions and co-development initiatives with hyperscalers or ISVs.

• Proven ability to generate measurable revenue through partner-driven strategies.

• Strong technical expertise: Capable of constructing or guiding POCs, demonstrations, and solution architectures.

• Knowledge of contemporary data/AI stacks (graph, vector, LLM ecosystems).

• In-depth understanding of Cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).

• Ability to function as a cross-functional leader across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

• Outstanding executive presence and partner influence abilities.

• Entrepreneurial mindset: Flourishes in 0→1 and 1→N scenarios.

• Commercially oriented with keen product insight.

• Willingness to travel extensively (30–50%).
