This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Shape the future of the software industry by leading platform strategy across software, control systems, and SaaS solutions.
• Drive the direction of the portfolio, develop roadmaps, and set investment priorities to foster growth and create scalable platforms.
• Establish the vision and roadmap for the software portfolio.
• Prioritize products, platforms, and partnerships that facilitate growth.
• Define the cloud platform strategy and shared services to ensure scalable growth.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture on hybrid solutions.
• Transform customer and market insights into strategic decisions that shape the roadmap.
• Influence the packaging, pricing, and growth strategy for SaaS offerings.
• Oversee portfolio governance and prioritize investments.
• Guide investment decisions throughout the portfolio lifecycle.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment among key teams to influence executive decisions on strategy and priorities.
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Business.
• 10–15+ years of experience in software strategy or portfolio management.
• Extensive experience with multi-product software portfolios and platform-based architectures.
• Proven knowledge of SaaS and cloud transformation.
• Familiarity with platform strategy and shared service models.
• Understanding of product versus platform trade-offs.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align teams across Engineering, Product, and Commercial sectors.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating vision into actionable priorities.
• Preferred experience in hybrid cloud and edge environments (e.g., IoT, industrial systems, distributed control environments).
• Knowledge of data platforms, telemetry systems, or device ecosystems.
• Experience managing large installed hardware/software customer bases.
• Background in modernizing legacy software portfolios into cohesive platforms.
• Exposure to SaaS transitions or business models based on recurring revenue.
