Director of Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Work closely with Product, Operations, and business leaders to prioritize tasks and generate impact.

• Align engineering initiatives with customer requirements and business results.

• Spearhead recruitment efforts for Engineering Managers and senior engineers.

• Cultivate and maintain a robust talent pipeline to facilitate ongoing growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 10 years in leadership roles managing teams.

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and unite various teams around common objectives.

• Experience in designing and delivering intricate, scalable systems within cloud environments (e.g., GCP, BigQuery).

• Solid foundation in system design, architecture, and contemporary engineering best practices.

• Technical expertise in:

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture.

• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, Redis.

• Frontend: JavaScript, React, TypeScript, modern frameworks.

• Mobile: Flutter or native iOS/Android development.

• Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to enhance engineering productivity.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
