• Establish and enhance the technical vision and engineering strategy across various domains, ensuring it aligns with overarching business goals.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate engineering managers and senior technical leaders, promoting a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

• Guarantee predictable, high-quality delivery of complex products by overseeing technical roadmaps and managing execution risks.

• Advocate for operational excellence through strong SRE practices, observability, and automation throughout the software lifecycle.

• Collaborate as a strategic partner with Product, Data, Risk, and Compliance teams to facilitate financial innovation within a regulated framework.

• Oversee the departmental budget, headcount planning, and strategies for attracting and retaining top-tier technical talent.

• Impact the architecture of large-scale distributed systems, ensuring resilience, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Significant experience in leading engineering organizations within hyper-growth (scale-up) environments or major financial institutions.

• Proven success in managing managers and developing technical leadership across diverse teams.

• In-depth technical expertise in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

• Experience in developing critical financial systems, addressing high concurrency, data consistency, and compliance demands.

• A hands-on, builder mindset that favors creating solutions over managing established processes, with practical experience in solving complex scaling challenges.

• Commitment to a culture of autonomy with accountability and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations with clarity and pragmatism.
