This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities with transformer OEMs, utilities, EPCs, and large-scale electrification projects throughout North America and international markets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for key product lines, including Transformers and other EBOS tailored for solar and various industries.
• Engage in high-value sales cycles that involve stakeholders from engineering, logistics, and procurement.
• Define annual sales objectives, forecast revenue and pipeline metrics, and achieve results that align with Unimacts’ strategic goals.
• Lead cross-border sales initiatives, ensuring alignment of regional strategies among the U.S., Mexico, and global manufacturing hubs.
• Identify opportunities for expanding product lines or entering adjacent markets based on customer requirements and trends in grid modernization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with VP-level sourcing, engineering, and supply chain executives at leading transformer OEMs and major buyers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by comprehensively understanding technical specifications, production timelines, and supply chain risks.
• Represent Unimacts at trade shows, utility forums, transformer summits, and other relevant industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, quality, logistics, and procurement, to execute complex, high-volume projects.
• Assist in proposal development, bid strategies, and contract negotiations while maintaining commercial integrity.
• Monitor market trends and gather customer feedback to inform product development and capacity planning.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and related standards associated with transformer component quality and safety.
• Integrate sales initiatives into Unimacts’ broader business systems and CRM platforms, such as MS Dynamics.
• Maintain brand reputation through professional, transparent, and responsive client service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of sales experience in the transformer, heavy electrical equipment, or industrial components sector.
• Strong background in selling to transformer OEMs, EPCs, or utilities.
• Familiarity with transformer component specifications, materials (such as steel, copper, insulation systems), and pertinent industry codes.
• Proven success in complex solution selling, technical proposal development, and managing lengthy sales cycles.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. grid modernization programs, renewable integration, and substation construction.
• Experience in sourcing and supply chain strategies for high-mix, low-volume manufacturing settings.
• Hunter mentality with a proven track record of opening new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of both commercial and technical value propositions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools, including MS Dynamics.
