This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and implement a thorough sales strategy for California that aligns with the company's objectives and luxury brand identity.
• Lead the strategic planning and forecasting efforts for revenue, distribution, pricing, and inventory across all channels.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with distributor partners and key accounts, ensuring alignment with sales initiatives and brand standards.
• Enhance brand visibility and activation through educational initiatives, events, and targeted marketing campaigns.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide strategic decisions and improve sales performance.
• Maintain pricing integrity and compliance across independent, chain, and online retail channels.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management to the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Field Sales Managers (FSMs), promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
• Facilitate consistent communication and strategic alignment between the sales team, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Organize and lead business planning sessions, sales meetings, and professional development programs.
• Assist RSMs with territory management, administrative tasks, and implementation of sales programs.
• Advocate for cross-functional collaboration with the National Accounts Team and Director of Eastern Sales to ensure seamless execution of national strategies.
• Manage regional revenue and expense budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and achievement of financial objectives.
• Oversee distributor performance, pricing strategy, and inventory management within California.
• Conduct data-driven analysis and reporting to monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
• Participate in annual planning, market evaluations, and trade marketing calendar development.
• Ensure timely and professional communication with internal teams and external partners.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent, with five years of experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A proven history of success and established relationships with key accounts in the designated territory market is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with luxury brand positioning.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possesses general computer literacy.
• Must be a self-starter dedicated to excellence and high standards.
• Strong interpersonal abilities; exceptional problem-solving and consultative sales skills.
• Good judgment with the capability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within various teams and/or committees.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all organizational levels.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis, prepare reports, and draft business correspondence.
