This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with key customers to recognize and fulfill their unique needs.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers to guarantee enduring success.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring that client requirements are met.
• Identify and attract potential strategic customers.
• Ensure consistency in branding.
• Negotiate contracts effectively.
• Gather and evaluate sales data and trends.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing departments to establish and implement strategies for new products.
• Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing business to maximize sales performance for designated accounts.
• Conduct comprehensive category and price point analysis to identify opportunities for maximizing profitability through product mix management.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the sector, staying updated on market trends and competitors' developments.
• Present the Chapin value proposition directly to customers.
• Create and execute Chapin’s strategic plan to enhance sales across all distribution channels.
• Act as the principal negotiator for Chapin during the creation or renewal of all distribution or supply agreements.
• Responsible for maintaining all Chapin agreements with retail account customers or suppliers of products distributed by Chapin.
• Develop, implement, and manage Chapin’s pricing strategy for all retail accounts.
• Formulate and execute marketing plans with retail accounts and suppliers to promote and aggressively sell related products through various distribution channels.
• Demonstrated work experience as a Director or National Account Manager, preferably in large retail environments.
• Solid background in sales and customer service.
• Proven experience in negotiating and fulfilling client requirements, with a strong ability to close deals.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales performance metrics.
• Practical experience with CRM software and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and driven individual.
• Ability to manage one's own workload under tight deadlines, balancing, planning, and organizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven conflict management skills with the capacity to reason and influence at all levels of key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer accounts.
• Capable of traveling approximately 50% of the time.
