This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead and supervise the Rooms Division teams to provide outstanding guest experiences.
• Oversee the daily functions of Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Guest Services departments.
• Manage inventory, including linens and supplies.
• Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between departments.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement service recovery strategies for continuous improvement.
• Oversee departmental budgets, labor productivity, and cost management to achieve or surpass financial objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and grow department leaders and team members.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, hygiene, and brand standards.
• Maintain a prominent presence during peak guest times to support staff and interact with guests.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to promote overall success.
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the Rooms Division within a full-service hotel is required.
• Familiarity with brand standards, particularly with Hilton and Marriott, is essential.
• Experience in both Front Office and Housekeeping is necessary.
• Proficient in property management systems (e.g., Light Speed, Opera, FOSSE, OnQ, etc.).
• A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
