This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the accounts receivable team to guarantee prompt and precise invoicing, collections, and cash application operations.
• Formulate and execute revenue cycle strategies aimed at maximizing cash flow and minimizing days sales outstanding (DSO).
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service departments to address billing disputes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and receivables, delivering regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory mandates concerning revenue recognition and accounts receivable.
• Propel process enhancements and automation initiatives to boost efficiency and accuracy in managing revenue and receivables.
• Foster relationships with external auditors and assist in financial audits pertaining to revenue and accounts receivable.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities to team members to cultivate a high-performing department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, revenue management, or financial operations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and overseeing revenue cycle or accounts receivable functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition standards, and financial reporting practices.
• Proficient in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and accounts receivable software.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting (preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation (preferred).
• Leadership experience within a large or complex organization (preferred).
• Familiarity with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (preferred).
• Experience in implementing process automation and digital transformation initiatives in finance (preferred).
