This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Conducts comparative analysis to ensure the accuracy of billing prior to submission to the relevant parties (including charges, subscriber information, diagnosis/procedure codes, and late fees).
• Processes claims promptly in accordance with contracts, regulations, departmental standards, and required forms.
• Initiates phone calls to all involved parties to verify the status of unprocessed, unpaid, or rejected claims, guaranteeing accurate and timely reimbursement.
• Manages a variety of correspondence from all parties, taking necessary actions to facilitate the swift resolution of claims payments.
• Confirms insurance/payer and patient demographic details for the accuracy of data collected during registration when applicable.
• Enters verification data to finalize in-house claims generation of billing forms.
• Re-bills accounts upon receipt of new information requiring updates to demographic and third-party details to ensure payment.
• Updates patient records to reflect changes made.
• Reviews both internal and external reports to track claims status.
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
