Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete accounts receivable process, ensuring prompt and precise invoicing for various transactions, including new business, expansions, contract modifications, auto-renewals, multi-year agreements, and excess charges.

• Implement proactive, customer-focused collection strategies to facilitate timely payments, nurture strong customer relationships, and meet collections efficiency and cash collection targets by effectively utilizing NetSuite and Tesorio.

• Accurately apply and record incoming customer payments (ACH, wire, credit card, and Stripe) to the appropriate accounts, and promptly research and resolve unapplied cash, chargebacks, and short payments.

• Generate credit and debit memos, oversee customer credit monitoring, including holds and limits, while ensuring that adjustments are accurate and well-documented.

• Evaluate AR trends, aging reports, collections performance, and key metrics to provide actionable insights that enhance cash flow, mitigate risk, and support accounting leadership.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including finalizing billing procedures, reconciling AR-related accounts, and confirming the accuracy of accounts receivable balances and revenue-related transactions.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of NetSuite and SuiteBilling to conduct billing operations, troubleshoot issues, support system enhancements, and promote process improvements.

• Prepare audit schedules, account reconciliations, customer billing support, and other documentation required by internal and external auditors. Assist with SOX controls, testing requests, and process documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

• Adopt AI tools and automation to optimize AR workflows, expedite collections, enhance forecasting, and consistently identify smarter working methods in a dynamic business environment.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Account Managers, Sales Operations, and other teams to resolve billing discrepancies and elevate customer satisfaction.

• Excel in a fully remote environment, showcasing initiative, dependability, and accountability in meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a similar role.

• Significant experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteBilling is strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach to collections.

• High degree of independence and self-motivation, with a proven ability to thrive in a remote work setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• Experience with business tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Tesorio, Gmail, and Stripe is advantageous.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription billing is preferred.
