This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the Lifecycle: Establish and uphold a cohesive Stage-Gate process (e.g., Intake → Discovery → Alignment → Execution → Post-Launch).
• Gatekeeping: Guarantee clear entry and exit criteria along with decision frameworks at each gate to reduce "scope churn" and rework.
• Strategic Mapping: Ensure every project within the portfolio is precisely aligned with Company OKRs and includes a solid risk mitigation plan.
• Trade-off Analysis: Highlight essential trade-offs concerning cost, timing, and complexity to empower senior leadership in making durable decisions.
• Master Portfolio Ownership: Ensure 100% data integrity across all initiatives, providing a "single source of truth."
• Executive Storytelling: Convert data from over 50 concurrent workstreams into bi-weekly, high-impact ELT reports that support swift decision-making.
• Automation & ROI: Collaborate with Finance and Data Analytics to shift manual tracking into real-time, automated visualization tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, or Atlas).
• Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a culture of "Extreme Ownership" and execution excellence.
• Cross-Functional Training: Educate Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on effective project management practices and Stage-Gate processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospectives to identify "information dark spots" and delivery bottlenecks, promoting lean improvements throughout the organization.
• Enhance the predictability, speed, and quality of project delivery.
• Foster accountability across teams for timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Lead retrospectives and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Optimize tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to enable scalable execution.
• A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, particularly in a Directive or Enterprise PMO (EPMO) setting.
• Proven track record of leading innovation pipelines and stage gate processes successfully.
• Experience working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments with evolving priorities.
• Established ability to drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making without direct authority.
• Strong capability to simplify complexity into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
• Experience in building or scaling PMO functions and enhancing organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience is preferred.
