Director of Product Management – IT Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the global product manager to establish, prioritize, and oversee the product roadmap.

• Direct the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.

• Collect and evaluate user feedback.

• Create comprehensive user stories and specifications.

• Work in partnership with the offshore software development team.

• Offer technical oversight and direction on product features, enhancements, and operational challenges.

• Ensure adherence to security standards, including SOC 2 and HIPAA.

• Safeguard the organization’s data and systems.

• Engage with and manage relationships with customers, investors, and internal teams.

• Gather requirements, test concepts, and communicate product advancements.

• Collaborate closely with the stateside operational team to convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Supervise daily IT operations, helpdesk support, and the resolution of operational issues and hotfixes during employee onboarding.

• Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in a product management position, with a solid foundation in software development and project management.

• Direct experience within the employee benefits or benefits administration technology sector.

• Demonstrated ability to think innovatively about creating software solutions and features that address complex, real-world challenges.

• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in managing and collaborating with a global or offshore development team.

• Practical knowledge of IT operations, helpdesk support, and cybersecurity principles.

• Familiarity with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance requirements is highly preferred.

• Ability to inspire and motivate a team, cultivate a positive work atmosphere, and manage a high workload in a fast-paced environment.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
