This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Product Management (PM) team.
• Take ownership of the vision and strategy for Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in the domain.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment on a large scale.
• Support platform scalability and international growth.
• Assess and enhance platform health metrics.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization.
• Over 10 years of experience in product management, including 3–5 years of experience managing and mentoring PM teams with people managers.
• Extensive experience in loans and lending systems — possessing a deep understanding of loan lifecycle mechanics, platform architecture for loan servicing, and associated compliance and operational requirements.
• Substantial experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, or financial operations — fluent in payment rails, settlement flows, cross-border transfers, and the reliability and accuracy standards that these systems necessitate.
• Background in fintech, financial services, or banking; familiarity with Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), platform products, or backend infrastructure is highly desirable; experience in capital markets is a plus.
• Proven capability to establish and implement long-term platform strategies in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
• Strong technical proficiency — comfortable engaging with data models and API discussions with engineers while forming informed opinions.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to enhance personal productivity and elevate team performance.
• A successful history of building and scaling distributed, high-performing PM teams across various domains concurrently.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities — capable of aligning Legal, Finance, Engineering, and executive leadership towards a unified direction.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to present concise, data-driven narratives to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
