This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Manage the Lab bet portfolio by identifying opportunities, establishing entry and exit criteria, and making decisive calls to scale, iterate, or terminate projects. Keep an accessible exploration backlog.
• Design experiments focused on the single most critical assumption. Define criteria for termination prior to development. Select the appropriate fidelity level (prototype, spike, wizard-of-oz, no-code, live pilot). Prioritize speed in shipping to enhance learning.
• Consolidate findings into informed recommendations. Clearly communicate what was tested, what insights were gained, and what uncertainties persist. Terminate ineffective initiatives—every experiment concludes with a decision.
• When a bet demonstrates significant potential, prepare validated hypotheses, evidence packs, risk assessments, and a proposed scaling strategy. Fully transfer ownership.
• Identify and finalize lighthouse pilots with a clear scope, metrics, and exit strategies. Recognize enabling partners and participate in strategic discussions to advance pilots toward business validation.
• Develop a consistent Lab Operating System that includes pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
• Leverage AI tools to expedite research, synthesis, and prototyping. Investigate AI-powered product ideas while maintaining a practical perspective on cost, data, and accuracy. Publish decision memos and candidly share insights from failed experiments.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Product with a demonstrated 0→1 track record.
• Experience personally managing several high-risk bets with clear go or kill decisions.
• At least 3 years of experience overseeing PMs (as a player-coach or group leader).
• Proficient in various validation tools: discovery, prototypes, and engineered MVPs—knows when to apply each method.
• Cross-functional leadership experience in Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Go-to-Market strategies; comfortable in pre-sales and pilot environments.
• Background where the speed of learning was prioritized over polish and where real downside risks existed.
• Practical experience utilizing AI as a tool for product development and exploration.
• Capable of prototyping with LLMs, APIs, or modern tools and delivering functional prototypes swiftly.
• Able to realistically scope AI experiments and assess feasibility without needing complete engineering validation.
• Skilled at identifying capability shifts and converting them into testable hypotheses.
• Competent in evaluating decisions related to build versus buy versus partner options.
• This experience is often gained from roles as a founder or co-founder, in early-stage startups, within internal labs/innovation teams, or through new market ventures in larger organizations.
• Private medical insurance coverage for employees and their families.
• 20 paid vacation days annually.
• 15 paid public holidays each year.
• 5 company-paid sick leave days.
• English language learning courses.
• Opportunities for relevant professional development.
• Access to a gym or swimming pool.
• Home Office Setup Assistance: the company provides support for purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to establish a comfortable workspace.
• Co-working options available.
• Flexibility for remote working.
