This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
β’ Take charge of the Lab bet portfolio by assessing opportunities, establishing entry and exit criteria, and making decisive calls on scaling, iteration, or discontinuation. Ensure a visible exploration backlog is maintained.
β’ Design experiments centered around the single most critical assumption at risk. Set kill criteria prior to development. Select the appropriate fidelity (prototype, spike, wizard-of-oz, no-code, live pilot). Deliver swiftly while safeguarding the speed of learning.
β’ Consolidate results into assertive recommendations. Clearly communicate what was tested, what insights were gained, and what remains uncertain. Eliminate ineffective initiatives β each experiment concludes with a definitive decision.
β’ When a bet indicates a strong signal, prepare validated hypotheses, evidence packs, risks, and a proposed scaling strategy. Fully transfer ownership.
β’ Identify and secure lighthouse pilots with clear scope, metrics, and off-ramps. Recognize enabling partners and participate in strategic discussions to advance pilots toward business validation.
β’ Create a repeatable Lab Operating System, including pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
β’ Leverage AI tools to enhance research, synthesis, and prototyping. Investigate AI-driven product concepts with a practical understanding of costs, data, and accuracy. Publish decision memos and openly share insights from failed experiments.
β’ 8β10+ years of experience in Product with a demonstrated 0β1 track record.
β’ Personally managed multiple high-risk bets with clear go/kill decisions.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in managing PMs (as a player-coach or group lead).
β’ Proficiency with validation tools: discovery, prototypes, engineered MVPs β understands the appropriate context for each.
β’ Cross-functional leadership experience across Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Go-To-Market; comfortable in pre-sales and pilot environments.
β’ Experience in situations where the speed of learning was prioritized over polish and where genuine downside risks were present.
β’ Practical experience utilizing AI as a product development and exploration tool.
β’ Capable of prototyping with LLMs, APIs, or modern tools and delivering a functional prototype promptly.
β’ Able to realistically scope AI experiments and assess feasibility without complete engineering validation.
β’ Skilled in identifying capability shifts and transforming them into testable hypotheses.
β’ Evaluates decisions regarding building, buying, or partnering.
