• Establishing the strategic direction and design vision for your domain, motivating teams to aspire for greater and more ambitious outcomes, while aligning with Monzo's objectives and mission.

• Collaborating with the leadership team in your area to outline priorities, develop roadmaps, and translate strategy into impactful actions.

• Cultivating and supporting a high-performing design team by focusing on their growth, wellbeing, and long-term achievements.

• Ensuring an outstanding quality standard across all design outputs through constructive feedback and coaching, enabling designers and teams to consistently deliver top-tier experiences.

• Fostering an atmosphere where feedback is encouraged, craftsmanship is acknowledged, and the quality of design continues to advance throughout the organization.

• Serving as an advocate for design at Monzo, shaping how design thinking influences our products and culture.

• You forge strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Research, and Commercial, and possess the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clarity, insight, and craftsmanship.

• You maintain a strong perspective on product design and consistently elevate the standards for quality, systems thinking, and customer experience.

• You understand how to amplify design influence throughout an organization, shaping product direction, work methodologies, and culture beyond your immediate team.
