Director of Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Complete responsibility for the performance, strategy, and culture of the practices and hospital, ensuring a balance between clinical excellence and strong operational and commercial results.

• Establish the strategic vision for the practices, ensuring outstanding patient and client care is delivered alongside sustainable business performance.

• Lead the development and implementation of the annual business plan, promoting sustainable growth while engaging the broader team in contributing ideas, providing feedback, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

• Monitor, analyze, and communicate both practice and individual performance, actively sharing best practices and contributing to the overall success of the wider region.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through regular development discussions, performance management, and ongoing team support.

• Deliver an exceptional client experience by enhancing client engagement, promoting service excellence, and ensuring that high standards are consistently maintained in every interaction.

• Assume full responsibility for the financial performance of the practice, including P&L management, achieving budgetary targets, and fulfilling all financial management obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership position with accountability for operational and commercial performance, preferably within healthcare, veterinary, or service-oriented sectors, though not mandatory.

• Strong financial and business management skills, including experience in planning and P&L oversight.

• Ability to lead, engage, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in leading organizational change and driving cultural or transformational initiatives.

• Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
