This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish and guide the platform roadmap in alignment with product and business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Product organization and SRE team to guarantee platform security, reliability, and scalability.
• Spearhead the development of the data pipeline that integrates endpoint agents and vendor data, encompassing storage, tiered access, and query functionalities.
• Provide platform services and public APIs for tenant management, identity, and role-based access control.
• Oversee platform tools and APIs that support AI/ML and business intelligence projects.
• Manage developer productivity tools, including CI/CD systems.
• Outline the long-term vision for the data platform through best practices in data architecture, modeling, and governance.
• Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Promote excellence in platform reliability, scalability, security, and software quality.
• Recruit, develop, and enhance platform and data engineering teams.
• Propel the adoption of AI throughout the development lifecycle to boost productivity, speed up delivery, enhance software quality, and facilitate efficient product delivery.
• Over 15 years of experience in software development, ideally within the cybersecurity domain.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, overseeing multiple teams.
• Proven track record of leading a Platform Engineering function at the Director level.
• At least 5 years of experience with large-scale AWS cloud solutions.
• Proficient with Postgres, Elastic, Redis, streaming data platforms, and ETL processes.
• Practical experience in architecting and constructing complex data platforms and service integrations.
• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD, large-scale production deployment, and data pipeline orchestration.
• Proven ability to lead high-impact initiatives and achieve long-term strategic objectives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
