Director of Pharmacy Operations

📋 Description

• The Director of Pharmacy Operations — 503b serves as a senior strategic leader, collaborating closely with local facility management to enhance performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote long-term growth within our 503b outsourcing portfolio.

• Instead of overseeing daily operations directly, this role acts as an enabler and architect, creating frameworks, standards, and development roadmaps that allow facility General Managers and production managers to operate with assurance.

• Reporting to the VP of Operations, this leader works cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Sales teams to enhance outsourcing capabilities, improve existing infrastructure, and prepare each facility for sustainable production scalability.

• The primary objective of this position is to enhance the performance of 503b outsourcing and maximize the effectiveness of Revelation Pharma’s 503b network.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in 503b outsourcing pharmacy is required.

• Strongly preferred is proven leadership experience in a multi-site or high-volume compounding/pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

• Direct experience with FDA inspections, cGMP compliance programs, and 21 CFR Parts 210/211 is essential.

• A demonstrated history of leading facility development projects, capacity expansion, or production scaling initiatives is necessary.

• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly advantageous.

• Strong financial acumen is required, including experience in managing operational budgets, capital projects, and P&L accountability.

• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence are essential; the ability to credibly represent operations to regulators, health system customers, and senior leadership is crucial.
