• Establish the operational foundation of the People function at Cohere
• Manage people systems and workflows
• Oversee HRIS and operational tools
• Direct shared services/helpdesk infrastructure
• Handle onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
• Lead operational analytics and reporting
• Design and enhance operational processes for scalability
• Build and guide a People Operations team
• Possesses extensive experience in hypergrowth and scaling
• Has a background in scaling People Ops within globally distributed tech environments
• Enthusiastic about systems thinking and operational design
• Strongly focused on automation and AI
• Enjoys tackling complex operational challenges
• Capable of building initiatives from the ground up
• Scales operations through systems and leverage rather than relying solely on headcount
• Holds 10+ years of experience in key People Operations roles
