📋 Description

• Build and head the Partner Engineering team, establishing its mission, operational framework, and success metrics.

• Create and implement the global partner engineering strategy across essential ecosystems (cloud providers, AI platforms, ISVs, and enterprise integrators).

• Oversee technical pre- and post-sales activities, ensuring smooth partner onboarding, solution architecture, and integration with Twelve Labs APIs.

• Collaborate across departments with Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to synchronize on technical roadmaps and market possibilities.

• Conduct enablement initiatives for partner technical teams (e.g., cloud solution architects, AI/ML teams) to incorporate and expand Twelve Labs technology within their ecosystems.

• Propel co-innovation projects, creating proof-of-concept integrations that showcase the advantages of Twelve Labs technology and encourage wider adoption.

• Represent Twelve Labs in external forums—speaking at events, publishing technical articles, and fostering thought leadership in the AI and video intelligence domain.

• Analyze the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to guide product strategy and pinpoint high-impact integration opportunities.

• Collaborate with leadership to design go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and joint business plans with strategic partners.

• Act as the technical advocate for customers, transforming partner feedback into actionable insights for the product roadmap.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, or Technical Pre/Post-Sales, including a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership or management role.

• Proven track record in building and scaling partner or solution engineering teams within a startup or high-growth setting.

• Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and API-based integration architectures.

• In-depth understanding of developer ecosystems, with knowledge of HTTP, JavaScript, Web SDKs, RESTful APIs, and modern application frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to influence C-level and technical stakeholders, aligning business and technical objectives.

• Exceptional storytelling and communication abilities—you can motivate both engineers and executives.

• High proficiency in navigating ambiguity, balancing strategic vision with practical execution.

• A genuine passion for AI/ML and multimodal technologies, with a desire to become an expert in how large visual-language models can revolutionize industries.

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
