This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Oversee RightMove's cohesive network and operations function across the Midwest.
• Take charge of the network strategy, growth, transformation of practices, management, and enhancement of patient numbers.
• Collaborate with the Regional Medical Director and local operational leaders to realize the local network vision.
• Lead the comprehensive provider strategy for the Midwest market, ensuring accountability for market performance, growth, and value generation.
• Convert insights from the market and provider network into requirements, priorities, and roadmaps for central teams.
• Manage market-level collaborations with health plans, employers, and primary care providers to enhance customer and contract outcomes.
• Create and implement the operating model for a scalable and high-performing provider network.
• Establish strategy and standards for provider contracting and onboarding processes.
• Propel patient growth through network-level strategies that influence supply-demand dynamics, access, and utilization.
• Direct the strategies for provider engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
• Define, monitor, and refine operational KPIs, holding cross-functional partners accountable for enhancements.
• Provide guidance to central teams on operational efficiency, tools, and visibility, prioritizing initiatives that generate value across the network.
• Travel approximately 50-75% within the Midwest market.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in network management, provider relations, and contracting.
• Extensive knowledge of risk-based provider contracting, current dynamics in the healthcare marketplace, quality metrics, and population health management.
• Experience with value-based contracts involving payers and other risk-bearing entities.
• Local familiarity with the orthopedic provider network in the Midwest.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience managing direct reports.
• Proven capability to design and execute complex healthcare initiatives.
• Strong background in consulting and operations with experience in building high-performing teams.
• A successful track record in network expansion and optimization.
• Strong negotiation skills and effective relationship management with provider practices.
• Experience in provider-to-provider value-based contracting.
• Must reside in a larger Midwest region (IN, IL, MI, MN, WI).
• Exceptional presentation skills and comfort in public speaking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness.
• Ability to analyze technical issues and resolve administrative challenges.
• Capability to exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to lead a large team across multiple functional areas.
• Experience in provider contracting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with physician leadership.
• In-depth understanding of providers, especially independent practices.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% within the Midwest market.
