This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Build, manage, and enhance the ULC nursing organization, which includes on-site RNs and regional leaders, across all clinic sites.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and continuous development of all nursing personnel within the ULC network.
• Create training initiatives and clinical competency benchmarks to ensure every nurse provides a consistently high-quality Lifeforce member experience, no matter the location.
• Establish a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and member-focused care from the outset.
• Design and uphold initial and ongoing competency validation programs for all nursing staff, which include annual skills evaluations and continuing education mandates.
• Develop and maintain clinical standard operating procedures (SOPs), nursing protocols, and escalation pathways for all on-site services.
• Transform Lifeforce medical protocols into clear, actionable nursing workflows that can be implemented across numerous locations.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and the Director of Operations to ensure nursing practices are fully aligned with Lifeforce's medical standards and member experience expectations.
• Create and manage quality assurance processes and metrics for nursing care delivery.
• Set standards for medication storage, handling, inventory management, cold-chain control, and administration practices.
• Ensure compliance with nursing regulations on a state-by-state basis across all ULC markets.
• Act as the primary clinical nursing contact for ULC franchise owners and their teams at Lifeforce.
• Represent Lifeforce's clinical standards in cross-functional discussions within ULC.
• Work closely with clinical leadership, health coaching, and member experience teams to align nursing infrastructure with wider organizational goals.
• Partner with technology and operations teams on EMR and scheduling workflows, clinical communication tools, and the systems utilized by on-site nurses daily.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the evolving clinical, operational, and business demands.
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) Licensure.
• Over 8 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 4 years in a nursing leadership, management, or director-level position.
• Proficiency in administering IV infusions and IM injections.
• Proven experience in establishing clinical programs or nursing infrastructures in settings where a playbook was not previously defined.
• Background in a brick-and-mortar clinical environment such as an outpatient clinic, wellness center, or similar facility.
• Comfort with multi-state licensing and understanding the regulatory differences that arise from operating across state lines.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities, with a capacity to gain trust and credibility with both internal clinical leadership and external franchise partners.
• Willingness and capacity to travel approximately 40 - 60% of the time, particularly during clinic launch phases.
• Familiarity with EMR platforms, scheduling tools, or operational workflow systems.
• Knowledge of functional medicine, hormone optimization, GLP-1, or longevity medicine service lines, whether as a clinician or in a clinical operations role.
• Experience working in a franchise or multi-location clinical setting.
