This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Develop and spearhead national and strategic account initiatives that align with division growth goals.
• Identify avenues to broaden distribution, enhance velocity, and bolster brand visibility with key retail partners.
• Act as the senior relationship manager for top retail accounts, cultivating long-term, value-oriented partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with distributor national and regional teams to ensure exemplary market execution.
• Synchronize priorities, programs, and performance expectations with distributor leadership (VPs, KAMs).
• Drive market engagement through joint business planning, ride-alongs, and execution audits.
• Work in conjunction with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to create cohesive, customer-facing strategies.
• Ensure that pricing, promotions, and programs are implemented effectively and are in line with brand strategy.
• Serve as a vital voice of the customer within the organization, influencing overall commercial strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to national and strategic retail accounts.
• Establish clear performance expectations and promote a culture of accountability and results.
• Assist in talent development, succession planning, and enhancing team capabilities.
• Oversee account performance, encompassing volume, distribution, pricing, and profitability.
• Utilize data (iDIG, KARMA, VIP, distributor systems) to derive insights and shape strategy.
• Track inventory and market conditions to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
• Represent Wonderful Wines with key clients and at industry events.
• A Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 7 years of progressive sales experience in wine & spirits, with a focus on national and key account leadership.
• Demonstrated success in managing distributor networks and large retail customers.
• Strong commercial acumen in areas such as pricing, promotions, and P&L management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making and sales analytics tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
