This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Define and take ownership of the IT innovation roadmap; develop a structured framework for ideation, piloting, evaluation, and large-scale deployment.
β’ Spearhead AI-driven initiatives within IT operations, including AIOps, intelligent helpdesk, infrastructure optimization, and tools to enhance engineer productivity.
β’ Identify automation opportunities within IT workflows, service delivery, and support; set up AI governance practices to ensure responsible use, model oversight, and proper data handling.
β’ Propel modernization initiatives that encompass cloud-native tools, platform consolidation, IT service management (ITSM), and self-service IT capabilities; collaborate with architecture teams for platform and vendor assessments.
β’ Establish technology standards and architectural guidelines for Corporate IT; represent the IT department in enterprise technology governance discussions.
β’ Ensure robust security controls for IT-managed systems and platforms, such as endpoint security, corporate email, productivity tools, and network infrastructure, ensuring they are fortified, monitored, and compliant with security standards.
β’ Take ownership of IT General Controls (ITGCs) related to access, change management, and operations; maintain documentation that is ready for audits and proactively address any control deficiencies.
β’ Manage audit readiness and remediation for IT-owned systems, including SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOX; assist in audit cycles and ensure findings are resolved promptly.
β’ Cultivate strong relationships across IT, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to align innovation and compliance objectives.
β’ Represent IT in executive forums, steering committees, and vendor partnerships; develop and articulate business cases, ROI models, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for innovation projects.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior role focused on technology leadership and innovation.
β’ Proven experience in implementing AI, machine learning (ML), or intelligent automation within IT operations or corporate IT settings.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of corporate IT domains, including infrastructure, cloud, IT service management (ITSM), security operations, and end-user computing.
β’ Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams.
β’ Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technology concepts for both technical and executive audiences.
β’ Experience in managing vendor relationships, conducting technology evaluations, and overseeing proof of concept (POC) or pilot programs.
β’ Familiarity with AIOps platforms, Generative AI tools, or enterprise automation solutions.
β’ Background in modernizing cloud infrastructure with an innovative approach (preferred).
β’ Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT (preferred).
β’ An engineering or advanced technical degree is a plus (preferred).
