This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Supervise the planning and execution of enhancements, removals, and significant alterations to the infrastructure supporting control systems (e.g., ERP (IFS) systems and WAN).
• Serve as the Technical Visionary for the development of IT systems.
• Accountable for the strategic planning of IT systems.
• Responsible for formulating and disseminating IT policies and standards.
• Manage the acquisition of all software, hardware, and IT supplies at the Enterprise level.
• Oversee the lifecycle management of systems and software.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements.
• Direct the manufacturing floor control systems.
• Handle all telecommunication accounts and plans for lifecycle adjustments, including capacity planning and service delivery.
• Supervise the software for Quality production lab systems.
• Oversee all help desk operations at the Enterprise level.
• Initiate and apply enhancements across all facets of Information Technology.
• Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships.
• Stay updated with emerging industry practices.
• Provide on-call after-hours support.
• Lead and mentor a senior IT team to secure the necessary resources and strategize to meet scheduled commitments.
• Travel may be necessary to fulfill responsibilities, potentially including international travel.
• Execute any other project or task assigned by Management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master of Information Technology Management is highly preferred.
• Fifteen (15) years of demonstrated and relevant experience in manufacturing IT.
• Experience in the rubber industry is preferred.
• Ten (10) years in a senior professional, managerial, and leadership capacity.
• Proven project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks across a wide range of responsibilities while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with presentation capabilities across all business levels.
• Proficient in computer/systems skills – MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Familiarity with Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL, RS Logics, and Hyper-Visor.
• Outstanding interpersonal, cooperative, collaborative, and team-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse personality types.
• Experience in managing, coaching, and developing a seasoned team of IT professionals.
• Strategic thinking capability with the ability to formulate strategies and conduct commercial analytics.
• Capacity to manage personal and confidential information.
• Willingness and availability to work outside of regular business hours as needed to support Operations, ERP systems, and offline office products.
