Director of Infrastructure Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and architecture of enterprise infrastructure.

• Define and take ownership of the enterprise infrastructure technology roadmap.

• Architect solutions that are scalable, resilient, and secure across network, compute, storage, and cloud domains.

• Lead the infrastructure design for mergers and acquisitions integration and affiliate onboarding.

• Design and develop enterprise network architecture across LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments.

• Architect and establish USUP's hybrid cloud infrastructure.

• Oversee security architecture and engineering across all infrastructure domains.

• Build a geographically distributed infrastructure engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure.

• At least 4 years of experience leading infrastructure engineering teams through significant design and build initiatives.

• A proven history of architecting and delivering enterprise network infrastructure at scale.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID / Active Directory, and hybrid cloud architecture.

• A strong background in security engineering, including knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH and PCI compliance requirements.

• Experience in designing Disaster Recovery architecture, including defining RTO/RPO and building out DR environments.

• Expertise in designing and constructing enterprise voice and collaboration infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience in leading infrastructure engineering during mergers and acquisitions integration.
