Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance cloud-native infrastructure adhering to best practices for security, scalability, and high availability.

• Integrate newly acquired cloud environments into the organization’s existing cloud framework.

• Develop and execute strategies for hybrid-cloud and cross-cloud connectivity.

• Architect, optimize, and sustain secure network infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Collaborate with security teams to apply Zero Trust networking principles.

• Maintain and extend a modular network security perimeter.

• Automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform and Ansible.

• Implement automation based on policies.

• Assist observability teams with infrastructure monitoring and alerting.

• Lead the transformation and standardization of foundational infrastructure services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure architecture.

• Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, encompassing networking, security, compute, storage, and IAM.

• Proven experience in migrating workloads from on-premises to the cloud and integrating new cloud environments into established architectures.

• In-depth understanding of multi-cloud networking, including AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, PrivateLink, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and automating cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

• Solid knowledge of security practices, including IAM, encryption, network security, PKI, certificate management, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HITRUST, NIST, FedRAMP).

• Experience in managing multi-account cloud governance and security policies (AWS Organizations, Azure Policy, SCPs).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in utilizing AI agents to enhance daily workloads.
