This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Assist in leading engagement scoping by collaborating with ransomware victims, forensic partners, and internal subject matter experts to identify inbound opportunities and enlist the appropriate engineering team members to meet the requirements.
• Oversee the distribution of workloads and the utilization of team members across various incident response engagements.
• Provide hands-on executive leadership to teams of engineers (referred to as cells, led by cell majors) who are tasked with minimizing the significant impact of ransomware attacks.
• Propel the development, training, and enhancement of runbooks across a broad spectrum of infrastructure and applications for both cloud restorations and on-premises delivery.
• Construct, manage, and continuously refine team structures to optimize scale, knowledge, opportunities, delivery excellence for customers, and profitability for Fenix24.
• Assist operational teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and value, as well as team member engagement, retention, growth, and profitability.
• Serve as a client and counsel escalation point to resolve any roadblocks, communication issues, or other challenges as they arise.
• Engage and collaborate with sales by interacting with clients in pursuit of new opportunities.
• Minimum of 10 years in IT infrastructure engineering and leadership roles.
• Recent experience leading engineering teams in complex, high-stakes situations.
• Experience in Managed Services and/or incident response restoration is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong technical expertise and capability to organize and execute complex missions.
• Over 7 years of relevant IT infrastructure engineering experience, including endpoint security controls, perimeter firewalls, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, and Windows Server operating systems.
• Ability to respond to inquiries and work outside of regular business hours, managing engineering teams of up to 24 members.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, train, evaluate, and direct the work of less experienced staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build relationships effectively.
• Capacity to cultivate relationships at all levels of the organization while exemplifying Fenix24's culture and values.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Information Technology, Business, Operations, or related field experience is strongly preferred.
