This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and advance Muck Rack’s organic growth strategy, encompassing SEO, GEO, and website performance.
• Spearhead SEO & GEO initiatives including on-page optimization, technical SEO, site architecture, and generative engine optimization.
• Collaborate closely with our content team to create and expand impactful, search-driven content.
• Discover and implement programmatic and highly scalable SEO and GEO strategies to boost our growth.
• Direct the website strategy for muckrack.com, focusing on information architecture, user journeys throughout the sales funnel, and landing pages.
• Create a comprehensive experimentation roadmap across SEO and web, balancing immediate wins with long-term strategies.
• Enhance conversion rate optimization (CRO) through experimentation, A/B testing, and ongoing iteration.
• Work in conjunction with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to enhance site performance and user experience (UX).
• Establish and monitor key growth metrics such as traffic, rankings, conversion rate, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
• Build and manage a high-performing team as the function expands over time.
• 7–10+ years of experience in SEO, growth, or digital strategy roles, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated success in increasing organic traffic and achieving significant business results.
• Extensive knowledge in technical SEO, content strategy, and website optimization.
• Strong comprehension of how websites operate as growth products (UX, CRO, information architecture).
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Content teams.
• Highly analytical with the capability to convert data into insights and actionable strategies.
• Comfortable functioning both strategically and hands-on in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing tools.
• Knowledge of modern SEO & GEO tools (e.g., GSC, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Profound, AirOps, etc.).
• Proactively integrate AI tools into daily tasks to enhance productivity and expedite delivery.
