This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Develop and implement the regional commercial strategy across key accounts, markets, and channels (including both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce).
• Take ownership of regional revenue objectives, market share increase, and accuracy in forecasting, with a clear responsibility for outcomes.
• Regularly assess performance indicators and market trends to enhance strategy and promote profitable growth.
• Discover opportunities for expansion, identify white spaces, and explore new distribution channels.
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with essential retail partners and distributors.
• Act as the main commercial liaison for major accounts, ensuring effective collaboration, alignment, and excellence in execution.
• Lead negotiations, annual planning, and joint business plans with retail partners.
• Guarantee consistent brand representation and execution at all sales points.
• Create and execute top-tier field sales and education strategies to optimize store productivity and enhance sales conversion.
• Direct, mentor, and manage the performance of regional field teams to surpass targets and provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Supervise training initiatives, masterclasses, and retailer events to elevate brand knowledge and in-store performance.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, finance, VM, and digital teams to align priorities and deliver cohesive plans.
• Ensure prompt and effective execution of product launches, promotions, and regional initiatives.
• Provide senior leadership with performance insights, risks, and opportunities, along with transparent and actionable recommendations.
• Manage trade investments, promotional budgets, and field expenses to optimize ROI and enhance P&L performance.
• Track KPIs and dashboards to maintain strong financial discipline and operational efficiency.
• Establish clear processes, reporting frameworks, and performance standards across various markets.
• Lead, cultivate, and motivate a high-performing commercial organization throughout Europe/UK and the Middle East.
• Promote a culture of accountability, agility, and results-driven execution.
• 8–12+ years of experience in commercial, sales, or business leadership roles, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, or consumer brands.
• Experience with Sephora is mandatory.
• Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth and managing significant retail accounts across multiple markets.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing regional or multi-country teams.
• Advanced strategic thinking capabilities combined with strong analytical and financial skills.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to operate effectively in fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural settings.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional European or Middle Eastern languages are advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficient technical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and other Microsoft suite tools, as well as ERP systems like Netsuite.
• The role requires working during PST hours.
• Reliable internet access and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace are necessary for performing administrative and other office-related tasks.
• This position will supervise the Sales Coordinator for the EU/UK/ME region.
