This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage the performance, reliability, and lifecycle of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets.

• Provide strategic oversight for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement initiatives.

• Analyze and review performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenses, and financial outcomes related to facilities and assets.

• Lead the annual planning process for facility operations, capital projects, resource distribution, and long-term asset management strategies across various customer sites.

• Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance scheduling, and performance reporting.

• Offer guidance to Asset Managers and clients on complex operational challenges, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure facilities and critical systems function safely, efficiently, and in compliance.

• Review and endorse asset management and facility operations strategies aimed at enhancing profitability, reliability, asset lifecycles, and customer satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or four years of relevant experience in place of a degree.

• At least seven years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of three years in a leadership role within asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance, energy infrastructure, property operations, or a similar operational setting.

• Familiarity with facilities and asset management practices.

• Capability to enforce safety regulations within the department.

• Skill in identifying business growth opportunities through effective customer management.

• Experience in managing profit and loss, and providing quarterly and monthly projections.

• Proficiency in generating reliable financial forecasts.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Attention to detail, with the capacity to manage ongoing projects in a dynamic environment.

• Awareness of industry standards and knowledge of the Company’s competitors.

• Ability to multitask and undertake tasks beyond the primary scope of work when necessary.

• Willingness to travel to job sites and office locations up to 50% of the time.

• Competence in assessing work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.

• Physical ability to climb stairs and stay stationary for extended periods.

• Capacity to lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
