This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership and guidance to the asset management team across various customer locations.

• Oversee the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets.

• Offer strategic oversight for facility maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement initiatives.

• Analyze and review facility and asset performance metrics, operating expenses, maintenance costs, and financial outcomes.

• Lead the annual planning process for facility operations, capital projects, resource distribution, and long-term asset management strategies.

• Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting.

• Provide counsel to Asset Managers and customers regarding complex operational challenges, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

• Review and endorse asset management and facility operations strategies aimed at enhancing profitability, asset reliability, asset life cycles, and customer satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Four years of pertinent experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience.

• At least three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance, energy infrastructure, property operations, or a similar operational setting.

• Knowledge of best practices in facilities and asset management.

• Ability to enforce safety regulations within the department.

• Capability to generate business growth opportunities through effective customer management.

• Proficiency in managing profit and loss, along with quarterly and monthly projections.

• Ability to develop a reliable financial forecast.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with industry trends and competitor activities.

• Capacity to multitask and handle responsibilities beyond the primary job description when required.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to job sites and office locations.

• Ability to evaluate work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.

• Capability to climb stairs and maintain a stationary position, whether standing or sitting, for extended periods.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

• Ability to adjust or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
