Director of Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture Engineering Managers and their teams across mobile, web, and backend domains, cultivating a culture of high performance and trust.

• Define and implement the technical strategy for a range of new products and experiences, balancing swift iterations with long-term scalability, reliability, and quality.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Business leaders to assess opportunities, tackle complex customer challenges, and launch new products to market.

• Advocate for the thoughtful integration of emerging technologies, including AI-driven capabilities and tools, to enhance customer experiences and engineering effectiveness.

• Recruit, develop, and retain outstanding engineering talent while contributing to the culture and technical standards of the overall engineering organization.

• Promote an AI-centric engineering approach, identifying and incorporating AI-driven tools and capabilities to create new user experiences and boost team productivity.

• A seasoned engineering leader with a proven history of developing and scaling consumer-oriented products and guiding organizations through phases of growth, transition, and uncertainty.

• Comfortable navigating environments where requirements are fluid and teams must balance experimentation with execution.

• A robust technical and organizational leader capable of converting business opportunities into scalable technical solutions.

• An outstanding communicator and leader with a demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and foster strong cross-functional collaborations.

• Someone who merges technical proficiency with keen product instincts and a profound appreciation for customer experience.

• Inquisitive about emerging technologies and motivated by the chance to help create new products and capabilities from the ground up.
