This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for analytics and data management projects, ensuring that scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgetary goals are achieved.
• Develop and implement best practices for delivery, governance frameworks, and execution strategies across various programs.
• Oversee complex programs and projects that span multiple workstreams, focusing on data engineering, data platforms, and analytics solutions.
• Actively identify risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks; lead structured problem-solving and risk mitigation efforts.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, guaranteeing transparency, alignment, and the realization of value.
• Facilitate executive-level reviews, steering committee meetings, and discussions regarding roadmaps.
• Balance client expectations with internal capabilities to ensure sustainable project delivery.
• Build, oversee, and expand large, globally distributed teams across different regions.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and high team morale.
• Mentor delivery managers, technical leads, and high-potential talent; assist in career development and succession planning.
• Provide leadership in delivery for solutions that encompass data management, data engineering, cloud-based analytics platforms, and modern data warehousing stacks.
• Exhibit strong familiarity with AWS Cloud services, including AWS Redshift, SQL, and Python (hands-on experience is not mandatory, but delivery fluency is essential).
• Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and perform efficiently.
• Encourage organic growth within existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and unmet client needs.
• Work in partnership with sales and leadership to achieve account growth objectives, develop proposals, and shape solutions.
• Lead opportunity exploration, effort estimation, and define delivery approaches for new initiatives.
• Contribute to the long-term strategy and roadmap planning for accounts.
• 10-12 years of experience in delivery, program, or project management within the fields of analytics, data management, or data engineering.
• Proven track record of managing large, global, cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of data management and data engineering ecosystems.
• Significant experience with AWS or other cloud data environments such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or GCP.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured, data-driven approach.
• Familiarity with data clean room solutions, consent management platforms, DataOps (including data observability, data quality frameworks, lineage, incident management, and SLO/SLA governance), as well as software/application development delivery (frontend, backend, API management, and design/UX collaboration), and SDLC practices (CI/CD).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including a strong executive presence.
