This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Director of Education oversees a holistic approach to APCCMPD’s content, consistently seeking opportunities to repurpose, reformat, and redistribute existing materials.
• Perform a comprehensive audit of current resources, including conference recordings, curriculum scripts, webinars, and committee outputs, to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for repurposing.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert content into organized LMS courses, micro-modules, on-demand modules, curated learning pathways, video tutorials, and infographics.
• Create and maintain a content calendar to plan, monitor, and prioritize the repurposing and publishing of content across various platforms.
• Strategically cross-post and publish content on the APCCMPD LMS and website to ensure consistency, accuracy, and maximum outreach to members.
• Guarantee that recordings and resources from Monthly Virtual Check-ins and Quarterly Connections are uploaded to the LMS promptly after each event.
• Work alongside the Director of Member Engagement on promotional initiatives that showcase new and repurposed content.
• Upload, organize, and curate educational content, courses, and training materials within the LMS framework.
• Oversee user accounts, permissions, access controls, and respond to technical support requests.
• Create and analyze reports on learner progress, engagement metrics, and platform usage.
• Resolve technical issues and work with Higher Logic vendor support as necessary.
• Develop instructional materials for members and staff regarding LMS functionality and best practices.
• Assess platform performance and provide written suggestions for enhancements.
• Schedule meetings, draft agendas, distribute materials, record and share minutes, track action items, and ensure that initiatives, deliverables, and goals are met on time.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple complex projects concurrently, including collaboration with volunteers and external contractors.
• Established experience with Learning Management Systems, content organization, user management, and platform optimization.
• Proven capability to identify opportunities to repurpose existing content into new formats and distribute it across various digital channels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at structuring and conveying information clearly and professionally.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to take initiative with minimal oversight in a virtual setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse committees and stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Travel expenses reimbursed per agreement.
