This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives and market expansion efforts for Thermo Fisher Scientific
• Create and implement detailed business development strategies across various market segments
• Discover new opportunities and establish strategic partnerships
• Drive revenue growth while supporting the mission of helping customers achieve a healthier, cleaner, and safer world
• Utilize expertise to formulate go-to-market strategies
• Manage teams and work collaboratively with cross-functional groups
• Advanced Degree with 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in business development within a B2B setting, demonstrating success in driving revenue growth
• Preferred fields of study include Business, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven leadership experience in managing and nurturing teams
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market trends, sales data, and customer insights
• Excellence in strategic planning and executing complex business initiatives
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, effective in engaging stakeholders at every organizational level
• Experience in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and customer relationships
• Proven capability to work effectively within a matrix organization
• Strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
• Experience in relevant industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or clean energy is preferred
• Track record of successful collaboration across functions and effective stakeholder management
• Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring abilities
• Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed
