This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Utilize your proven technical and industry expertise to become a reliable advisor for our clients.
• Propel the national growth strategy for Epic advisory, implementation, and optimization services.
• Oversee the sales and proposal process for Epic opportunities from qualification to contract execution.
• Use your established network and personal brand to discover, pursue, and secure new Epic opportunities.
• Lead and assist in the delivery of EHR implementations and optimization initiatives.
• Offer strategy and planning guidance to implementation teams.
• Build and sustain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CFOs, COOs, CMIOs, and other healthcare leaders.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, industry conferences, executive briefings, and speaking engagements to enhance brand awareness and create new opportunities.
• Travel regularly to client locations, conferences, and internal leadership meetings to foster relationship development and strategic pursuits.
• Forge strong internal relationships across service lines to establish sustained referral channels and pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with leaders across the firm to identify, shape, and pursue Epic-related opportunities within current and potential client accounts.
• Mentor and guide business development teams, partners, and account leaders on effectively positioning and selling Epic services.
• Contribute to building and scaling an Epic practice focused on implementations, optimizations, and advisory services.
• Supervise the creation of client-facing materials, including proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and executive presentations.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, informatics, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare IT, healthcare consulting, or related leadership positions.
• Previous consulting/client-facing experience in EHR implementation and optimization services.
• Proven success in selling Epic-related services, including advisory, implementation, and optimization engagements.
• Established track record of meeting or surpassing annual sales or revenue goals.
• Experience in leading complex Epic pursuits, including proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract execution.
• Deep understanding of the Epic ecosystem, encompassing health system implementations, Community Connect models, and optimization initiatives.
• Experience in presenting to and building relationships with senior healthcare executives (CIO, CFO, COO, CMIO, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and empower business development teams, account leaders, or partners in selling Epic services.
• Strong business acumen, including knowledge of healthcare operations, financial drivers, and technology strategy.
• Experience working within or alongside large, complex health systems or multi-entity healthcare organizations.
• Proven capability to build and scale consulting teams and service offerings.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented approach with strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% (up to 75% as necessary).
