This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the overall delivery process for Shopify projects, ensuring they align with both organizational objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise multiple project teams, including Product Owners and Technical Architects, to provide scalable and high-performing eCommerce solutions.
• Develop and uphold best practices for project delivery, emphasizing efficiency, innovation, and quality.
• Oversee delivery pipelines, budgets, and schedules, proactively addressing any roadblocks that arise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and success indicators, ensuring they align with client business strategies.
• Propel initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, integrating feedback and emerging trends.
• Lead platform migrations and custom implementations for enterprise brands, guaranteeing seamless transitions and strong performance.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Technical Architects, Product Owners, and other delivery personnel.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the delivery team.
• Provide career development opportunities and consistent performance feedback.
• Act as a strategic advisor to enterprise clients, establishing trust with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
• Conduct governance meetings to provide updates on delivery, tackle challenges, and align on priorities.
• Serve as the escalation point for significant delivery issues, ensuring prompt resolution and client satisfaction.
• Utilize your technical background to guide solution design, ensuring compliance with Shopify best practices.
• Supervise integrations with ERP, OMS, and CMS systems, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Advocate for Agile delivery methodologies, ensuring adherence to Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid frameworks as suitable.
• Over 10 years of experience in project delivery, product management, or software engineering, with a strong focus on eCommerce.
• Extensive knowledge of Shopify Plus and its ecosystem, including custom development, integrations, and migrations.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional teams, balancing both technical and business priorities.
• Experience in managing, mentoring, and scaling diverse teams across both technical and non-technical roles.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling delivery challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing and building trust with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in engaging with enterprise clients, offering strategic insights, and effectively managing escalations.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, eCommerce platforms, and technical architecture.
• Familiarity with ERP, OMS, CMS, and third-party solution integrations (e.g., Netsuite, Sanity, Manhattan).
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
