This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Supervise the program implementation, instructional strategies, and strategic support model of the Global Curriculum & Instruction team across 17 countries while directly managing implementation projects.
• Create and implement the vision and operational framework for the Affiliate Support Team.
• Directly oversee and mentor regional and functional Global C&I Leads.
• Offer strategic advice, problem-solving assistance, and program implementation support to affiliate C&I leaders and CXOs.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to regional and country leadership regarding learning quality, instructional efficacy, and program execution.
• Assess the health of teaching and learning through regional engagement, individual meetings, implementation data, and learner outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities, assist in strategic decision-making, and address complex challenges related to stakeholders, implementation, and instructional quality.
• Lead Generation’s global instructor support strategy and manage initiatives like the Learning & Teaching rubric.
• Develop processes and spearhead initiatives aimed at improving program implementation and internal C&I operations.
• Refine instructional strategies for AI-enabled learning environments.
• Advance the instructional model for rapid instructor onboarding, coaching, and quality assurance as affiliates transition to a Training Service Provider delivery model.
• Establish the vision and instructional strategy for Generation Direct programs in Ghana, the United States, and Colombia, along with new direct-run regions or pilot projects.
• Formulate and implement instructional experiment strategies, oversee their adoption, and share insights across affiliates.
• Support Generation Direct operations by mentoring and supervising Generation Direct Leads.
• Conduct performance assessments, professional development, check-ins, recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for members of the Global C&I team.
• Lead the continuous enhancement of C&I processes, tools, and systems.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic adjustments, team structures, roles, responsibilities, and operational methods.
• Provide reports and actionable feedback to senior leadership regarding the effectiveness and impact of support services.
• Analyze performance metrics, pinpoint areas for improvement, and utilize data to drive decision-making.
• Oversee the global exchange of best practices in learning and teaching.
• Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and professional development of country C&I leaders and senior teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant educational field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in instructional design, including multi-week programs based on needs analysis and active, practice-based learning experiences.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in establishing and leading high-performing teams.
• At least 5 years of instructional leadership experience.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with senior stakeholders within complex organizational frameworks and partnerships.
• Strong project management skills, effectively managing multiple stakeholders and workflows under tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Extensive knowledge of adult learning theory, principles of curriculum development, and best practices in instructional design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to leverage data for informed decision-making and to identify opportunities for program enhancement.
• Preferred experience in teaching and/or designing instructional content for adult learners from low-income, diverse backgrounds.
• Preferred experience in teaching and/or designing instructional materials for culturally diverse populations.
• Preferred experience in designing blended and fully online learning experiences.
