📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer, other C-Level executives, the EVP of Growth, the General Counsel, and senior leaders to establish and enhance corporate development strategy and strategic priorities.

• Actively build relationships and spearhead industry research, market intelligence, and competitive benchmarking initiatives to identify and develop a pipeline of targets, new ventures, and strategic partnerships for evaluation and prioritization by senior leadership.

• Work closely with the CFO and FP&A team to create valuable financial models, including DCF, accretion/dilution, and sensitivity analysis, to assess the economic implications of potential transactions.

• Manage the transaction lifecycle starting from initial outreach, trusted relationship building, internal alignment and buy-in, term sheet development, definitive agreement, and closing, in close collaboration with the Legal Team and other senior leaders.

• Oversee the due diligence and integration process across Delivery, Growth, Legal, Finance, Talent, Operations, and Market Shaping, ensuring that all risks are identified and mitigated prior to closing.

• Work with Delivery, Growth, and other senior leaders to evaluate the strategic fit of potential transactions, ensuring internal alignment on transaction objectives and the distribution of capital and business resources.

• Foster post-acquisition value creation by collaborating with integration teams to develop plans for 30, 60, and 90+ days, ensuring smooth transitions and the realization of anticipated synergies.

• Partner with the CFO, other C-level executives, the General Counsel, and key leaders on firm-wide strategic and operational initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture participants in the corporate development process, promoting a culture of high performance, precision, and continuous improvement.

• Enhance and streamline existing reporting and planning processes to ensure all leaders can easily access the information required to perform their roles related to transactions, utilizing systems and business intelligence tools for efficiency and improved analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a comparable role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of professional services and government contracting, including industry dynamics and variables in vehicles and contracts that influence business value.

• Exceptional negotiation skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated expertise in business valuation, financial modeling, and unit economics.

• Outstanding ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-financial executives.

• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills, with experience in developing a Corporate Development function.

• Executes effective change management regarding goals and expectations, proactively identifying when course corrections are necessary.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.

• Proficient computer skills and the ability to utilize technology in a professional services context.

• Strong time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Skills in problem solving and conflict resolution.

• High level of personal integrity, ethics, motivation, and the ability to foster mutual respect and inclusion.

• Capacity and resilience to develop, build, and nurture strong working relationships at all leadership levels, management, and with external stakeholders and clients.

• Ability to implement strategies and services in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment while maintaining alignment across organizational boundaries.
