This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as a writer for key campaigns, product introductions, and significant evergreen funnels.
• Craft original, compelling, and high-converting direct response copy for landing pages, sales pages, and VSLs.
• Experiment with and refine copy variations to enhance performance, collaborating closely with creative and performance teams.
• Supervise junior copywriters—efficiently delegating tasks, nurturing their skills, and sharing essential data.
• Elevate the copy department to be a leader in testing speed, ideation, reporting, video editing, and overall productivity.
• Champion the brand voice and storytelling across all written materials, ensuring a cohesive customer experience at every interaction.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in direct response, including AI, video tools, and creative strategies, while proactively introducing fresh ideas.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the copy team using Notion, assigning tasks, prioritizing projects, tracking progress, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Monitor all project statuses and proactively hold team members accountable for their deliverables and expectations.
• Foster an environment of continuous feedback and provide access to current reporting.
• Function seamlessly within the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework—ensuring processes, meetings, and scorecards are efficiently managed.
• Collaborate with the Head of Copy to guarantee perfect alignment between copy, creative strategies, and brand standards.
• Review and approve all copy assets (including pages, emails, ads, and scripts) for accuracy, persuasive impact, and adherence to brand voice.
• Carefully identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, or weak messaging before launch.
• Lead impactful, results-oriented creative calls that promote action and clarity.
• Generate new high-converting video variations from existing materials.
• Write, edit, and refine copy for ads, VSLs, and acquisition funnels, particularly for high-priority launches and tests.
• Ensure brand voice and conversion standards are upheld across all creative outputs.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in direct response copywriting, with a portfolio that demonstrates results.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in skincare, women’s health, or health supplements.
• Proven mastery in persuasive selling and funnel-based marketing.
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with a successful track record of leading teams and projects using tools like Notion.
• Keen attention to detail—you quickly spot typos, awkward phrasing, and off-brand elements.
• Experience with Descript (or similar software) for video editing and test creation.
• History of conducting productive, focused meetings that drive actionable outcomes.
• Capability to enforce accountability while fostering a positive, collaborative team atmosphere.
• Familiarity with the EOS framework is preferred.
