Director of Contract Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives in network design, supplier selection, capacity planning, and contingency planning.

• Negotiate and oversee contracts to ensure the best pricing, service, and overall business value.

• Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, set KPIs, and enhance performance, quality, and service.

• Oversee pricing forecasts, budgets, and cost strategies to align with business goals.

• Establish and nurture key relationships with stakeholders at Unilever and Wellbeing Collective to ensure strategic alignment.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and contract manufacturing within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) setting.

• Experience in a VMS manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in managing extensive contract manufacturing networks and strategic supplier relationships.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and supply chain risk management.

• Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts and commercial agreements.

• Strong financial expertise with experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization efforts.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-achieving teams.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; transparent, collaborative, and highly effective in influencing others.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in uncertain situations.

• Adaptable and agile leader capable of transitioning smoothly between strategic planning and operational execution.

• Ability to distill complex issues and clearly communicate business impacts to diverse audiences.
