This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise all facets of daily league operations, tournament frameworks, and competitive scheduling.

• Create and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for competitions to enhance education for students and staff.

• Develop and execute a member-focused, mission-driven strategic vision for the evolution of competition products.

• Directly manage, mentor, and supervise the Head Admin and Tournament Official personnel.

• Lead the complete planning, logistics, and operational execution for all NACE LAN events.

• Oversee conferencing structures and the management of the NACE self-select program.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with game publishers to secure licensing rights, manage publisher program requirements, and advocate for member interests.

• Ensure adherence to the NACE Rulebook(s) and act as the final decision-maker for enforcement actions.

• Drive enhancements of the NACE competition platform and establish administrative processes to optimize the platform experience for students, staff, conferences, and NACE tournament officials.

• Manage and support the NACE Competition Council, overseeing the governance of rulebooks, league policies, and appeal procedures.

• Act as the primary advocate for NACE varsity standards, promoting institutional alignment regarding eligibility requirements, oversight by campus officials, and the significance of in-person play.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in the professional or collegiate esports sector.

• Demonstrated leadership capability to manage, scale, and inspire a competitive operations team.

• Experience functioning on esports competition platforms at scale and utilizing relevant competition tools.

• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to support live operations.

• Extensive strategic and competitive operational knowledge of major collegiate titles (e.g., League of Legends, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros., VALORANT, Call of Duty, Rocket League, Marvel Rivals).

• Strong relationship management skills for collaboration with game publishers and stakeholders in higher education.

• Proven track record in planning and executing live, high-stakes esports events and tournament logistics.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with strong crisis and conflict resolution skills.

• Capacity to manage and participate in travel for events and live championships as required.

• Proficient working knowledge of email/communication systems and word processing/spreadsheet/presentation tools, including Google Workspace, Discord, and Twitch.

• Ability to lead complex projects within a collaborative team environment involving stakeholders with diverse interests.
