Director of Clinical Operations and Innovation, Population Health

📋 Description

• Lead Devoted Medical’s comprehensive initiatives to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes.

• Take ownership of and drive performance on preventative care and clinical outcome metrics, such as cancer screenings, diabetic eye examinations, and kidney function assessments.

• Develop organization-wide strategies for a range of clinical outcome metrics.

• Discover opportunities to streamline members’ healthcare experiences.

• Oversee performance relative to operating KPIs and clinical outcome metrics.

• Collaborate with Clinical, Member Experience, Product, Technology, and frontline teams to design and execute effective solutions.

• Translate objectives into actionable strategies and steer initiatives from pilot phases to full-scale implementation.

• Utilize data to pinpoint performance drivers and variances.

• Establish frameworks for evidence-based decision-making and address obstacles to performance.

• Provide leadership through direct management and influence, empowering frontline teams.

• Convert complex operational objectives into daily workflows.

• Report to the Senior Director of Preventive Health and engage with executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in high-responsibility operator roles focused on performance enhancement in complex, regulated, or high-stakes environments.

• Proven experience in developing metrics and targets, analyzing trends, improving performance, and reporting results.

• Capability to execute swiftly, adapt quickly, and enhance processes while creating scalable automated solutions.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to construct advanced models for opportunity sizing and experiment evaluation.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Ability to think algorithmically concerning multi-step, probabilistic processes.

• Demonstrated leadership effectiveness and capacity to influence outcomes at various organizational levels.

• Experience in direct management, leading cross-functional projects, or navigating matrix reporting relationships.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex operational and clinical concepts into actionable insights.

• History of refining complex workflows and mapping cross-functional processes.

• Quick learner in intricate operational domains.

• Interest in emerging technologies and a practical approach to leveraging AI.

• Experience with LLMs for developing intricate prompts and tools is highly advantageous.

• Proficiency and rigor in using and analyzing data, including awareness of metric challenges, changing denominators, ranges, and probabilities.
