Director of Clinical Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Direct the operational strategy and implementation of the organization's Clinical Excellence and clinical education initiatives.

• Create and sustain an annual clinical training roadmap that aligns with business objectives and workforce development requirements.

• Set standards, processes, and governance for the delivery of training programs across various regions, specialties, and clinical functions.

• Collaborate with executive and clinical leaders to determine educational priorities and support organizational goals.

• Supervise the planning, scheduling, and execution of clinical education curricula and training programs, workshops, symposiums, leadership development initiatives, and continuing education events.

• Ensure a uniform and high-quality learning experience across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.

• Propel enhancements in learning operations, training effectiveness, and program scalability.

• Track participation, completion rates, learner feedback, and educational outcomes.

• Oversee the development, maintenance, and distribution of training content.

• Source, coordinate, and cultivate clinical experts both within and outside the organization to create and lead courses and other educational programming.

• Develop and oversee the Clinical Excellence department budget, encompassing educational programs, vendors, conferences, technology, and training resources.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to assess program effectiveness and operational efficiency.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and service excellence.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in a relevant clinical field is required.

• 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare education, clinical operations, learning and development, workforce development, or program management.

• Proven experience managing complex training programs and operational budgets.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Required experience in the healthcare industry.

• Strong capabilities in strategic planning and program management.

• Demonstrated experience managing departmental budgets and financial reporting.

• Exceptional organizational and project leadership abilities.

• Strong executive presence and skills in stakeholder management.

• Experience in overseeing learning management systems and educational technologies.

• Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities.

• Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate through change.

• Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and relationship-building.
