Director of Cash Reconciliation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise all aspects of payment posting, including ERA, EOB, EFT, and patient payments.

• Ensure payments are posted accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile bank deposits with the records in the system.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to payments.

• Manage underpayments, overpayments, and unapplied cash effectively.

• Develop internal controls and prepare for audit readiness processes.

• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, billing, and finance departments.

• Oversee and manage both offshore and onshore cash posting teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

• 8–10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, particularly in payment posting and reconciliation.

• Demonstrated strong understanding of EOBs/ERAs, cash application, and reconciliation processes.

• Proven experience in managing high-volume posting teams, both onshore and offshore.

• Excellent attention to detail, along with strong reporting and process optimization abilities.
