Director of Billing, RCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise all initial processes for claim generation and submission

• Ensure claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner

• Achieve clean claim rate targets (greater than 95%)

• Manage clearinghouse edits and handle rejection issues

• Conduct root-cause analyses on billing problems

• Standardize billing workflows throughout the organization

• Collaborate with coding, credentialing, and payer teams

• Direct billing managers and supervisors

• Oversee both offshore and onshore billing teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field

• 8–10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, specifically in billing operations

• In-depth understanding of claim submission, payer requirements, and denial management

• Proven experience managing both onshore and offshore teams

• Knowledge of billing systems (e.g., Tebra or similar platforms)
