Director of AI and Digital Workplace Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the roadmap for the digital workplace stack, which includes M365, Box, Claude, Copilot, and Power Platform.

• Assess new tools and platform functionalities; provide recommendations on areas for investment, expansion, or retirement.

• Oversee daily vendor operations with Anthropic, Microsoft, and other providers of digital workplace platforms.

• Supervise license management, provisioning, and cost optimization across all platforms.

• Promote the adoption of AI tools throughout the digital workplace portfolio by identifying high-impact use cases.

• Contribute to AI governance processes and policy revisions by offering platform-level insights, usage statistics, and operational perspectives to the AI Risk & Governance Committee.

• Lead and manage the Digital Workplace team, which includes platform administrators and support personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, enterprise applications, or digital workplace roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing a team.

• Proven experience in establishing platform or product strategy within an enterprise setting.

• A successful track record of developing business cases and managing budgets for technology investments.

• Capability to convert organizational requirements into a coherent platform roadmap.

• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, encompassing licensing, security, compliance, and governance.

• Familiarity with at least two of the following: Box, Power Platform, Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot.

• Experience in managing vendor operations, including license management, technical escalations, and feature roadmap oversight.

• Understanding of AI governance frameworks and responsible AI usage guidelines.

• Knowledge of data privacy principles as they pertain to SaaS and AI platforms.
